Frequently Asked Questions
Does this toolkit connect to my till or card machine?
No. It does not connect to a till, Yoco, SnapScan or bank account. Enter the dayβs cash and card or digital sales totals yourself. The workbook compares the figures you enter and helps you review the physical cash count against expected cash.
What should I enter during the daily cash-up?
At opening, count and enter the starting float. At closing, enter total cash sales, card or digital sales and the amount of cash physically counted. Compare the calculated variance with your records, and add a note if you need to investigate a difference.
How does the stock reorder warning work in the workbook?
For each product, enter Stock on Hand and the Reorder When Below threshold. The status changes to REORDER when stock reaches or falls below that threshold, and to OUT when the count is zero. Update counts as part of your routine stock check.
Does the toolkit replace accounting software?
No. It is a practical workbook for internal cash-up, stock and supplier-credit tracking. It does not connect to accounting software, create audited financial statements or replace your normal bookkeeping and tax records. Keep receipts and source documents separately.
